Product Description
The RetroTINK-2X SCART is the counterpart of the Pro, but for RGB SCART sources. The 2x-SCART is housed in a professional injection molded enclosure and is capable of firmware updates via the USB port and a simple Windows PC app. The RetroTINK-2X Pro accepts RGB signals from your retro-console and line doubles the signal to 480p/576p with virtually zero lag for an output that is compatible with your modern TV. Images can be processed with various filters: blocky for pixel based sprite art, smoothed for 3D games as well as a scan-line option for mimicking a CRT. The RetroTINK-2X SCART accepts power via a microUSB port with advanced power supply filtering to minimize noise. Included is a microUSB cable -- you can supply a cell-phone charger or plug it directly into a USB port on your TV. NOTE: All 2X-SCARTs ship with the original v1.0 firmware. The v1.0 firmware contains the necessary code for the factory to program the anti-piracy measures and perform QC checks. Check out the RetroTINK sites for the latest firmware. The 2X-SCART always line doubles -- no pass-thru is available in the current firmware.
